Reiki is a traditional Japanese practice that aims to restore and maintain balance in the body, promote vitality and give a sense of well-being.

It is based on the transmission of Ki (vital energy) that is transferred through the hands and stimulates the body's natural healing ability. Life's stresses and tensions, emotional disturbance and physical fatigue can cause stagnant energy and create blockages within the body. If the body is in balance and energy is flowing freely, health and clarity of mind will follow.

What can I expect?

​

I practice traditional Japanese Reiki which involves placing my hands on different areas of the body, this involves a light contact, apart from any intimate areas where the hands are held just above the body, focusing on each area to transmit Reiki. 

During the treatment you may experience different sensations such as dreaminess, sadness, joy, changes in body temperature, colours and vibrations. This is normal, but you will mainly feel relaxed and calm.

Reiki is a wonderful, restorative and enlightening therapy that benefits the body and mind in many ways, such as:
