Repair Service

I use a combination of traditional and modern techniques to repair a crack or break, combining epoxy glue/putty followed by the traditional layering of Urushi lacquer and metal powder. All traditional materials are sourced directly from Japan.

Your item can be repaired using brass finish, sterling silver or 24k gold.

The repair time is approximately 6-8 weeks. 

24k gold: Priced on request

Fully traditional repair is available on request, this takes approx 3 months and incurs an additional charge.

Postage will be calculated based on size and weight and will be fully insured.

Please be aware that the brass finish is NOT food safe so if your item is to be used for food I recommend either sterling silver or 24k gold.
